Alterations and extensions to properties that are not Listed Buildings provide opportunities for more significant building changes to meet clients’ particular requirements. Yiangou Architects have undertaken many successful remodelling projects involving the reorganisation of house layouts to improve the circulation flow and to create larger more attractive family living spaces.

In many cases, where houses have been added to over the years, we are able to rationalise the building design, replacing inappropriate modern extensions with sensitively designed new extensions that will enhance the properties’ overall appearance and its value.

Every site is different and has its own constraints and opportunities which we acknowledge at the outset and use to inform the design.
