At around 20,000sqft, this is one of the largest new Country Houses to be built in Gloucestershire in the last 50 years.
The house sits on the edge of one of the Cotswolds’ most picturesque villages on the site of a former farm house and redundant agricultural buildings. The building was designed to include all the requirements of a large modern family home with generous recreation facilities including an indoor pool, gym and home cinema, as well as well as ample guest accommodation, fitted out to the highest standards.
Set in spectacular surroundings, the building was designed to take advantage of the long southerly views and included beautiful new gardens all around the property. The site was completely remodeled and involved diverting footpaths, burying electric over-gound supplies and building feature pools and grottos, a woodland walk, as well as a tennis court and a walled kitchen garden.
Staff accommodation was provided in one of the converted barns with other outbuildings used for an Energy Centre, garaging and maintenance buildings.
