Project 837

Listed Grade II in the north Cotswolds, the original property consisted of a u-shaped series of traditional farm buildings, including a cottage, outbuildings and stables, with the best views to the rear.

The challenge was to design a layout that knitted the buildings together in a functional manner, and also made best use of the views. This involved the conversion of the stable wing into a games room and entertainment space, the creation of a new family kitchen, a new entrance hall, and paneled study and complete refurbishment of the original farmhouse.
The property was heated using ground source heat pumps.
