This Grade II listed cottage is hidden away in a secluded valley in the South Cotswolds with spectacular views across tree-covered hills. The project involved the careful conservation and refurbishment of the listed cottage, together with a respectful, complimentary extension.
This project demanded a sensitive conservation approach, as the existing fabric underwent extensive repair and brand new electrical and plumbing services were incorporated.
A light and spacious kitchen and garden room was formed with the construction of a green oak extension that opens the house up to the garden and the beautiful views of the Cotswolds. The connection between inside and outside is further enhanced by the creation of an external fireplace and seating area that directly backs on to the garden room.
