Although the original building dates from the mid-19th Century, this farmhouse on a large estate in South Gloucestershire is not itself listed. This enabled our clients to undertake major alterations and extensions, allowing the house to be completely reconfigured to suit their requirements.
Large, formal dining areas for family and visitors were formed, guest bedrooms were beautifully fitted-out and a classically designed orangery was constructed from local Cotswold stone.
Externally, the site was completely redesigned to incorporate a new driveway that sweeps around to the front of the house and a new, secure rear service yard. The Trap House on the site was substantially rebuilt to provide attractive staff accommodation.
