Major alterations and extension to an early 20th Century brick country house in on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border.
The work was carried out in phases as part of a planning strategy to overcome local authority policy constraints. Over five years, we managed to double the size of the house by adding extensions to the sides, converting roof spaces and by building outbuildings for staff, home office and guest accommodation.
The scheme included completely remodeling the garden with new terraces, greenhouses and service areas. The quality of fit-out was of a very high standard and included efficient new heating and sophisticated electrical controls required for modern living standards.
