“When it comes to design philosophy, I do not have preconceived ideas that can limit opportunities: every project is special and the best design solution, in my experience, responds to the unique characteristics of a site, its ‘spirit of place’. I have been very lucky to have worked on the most beautiful buildings in some spectacular settings. I like to think our best work is yet to come.”
